Flight Nanny Process
Booking a Flight
Flight Nannies are responsible for finding the most affordable flight and most comfortable flight for your pet. If possible, we prefer choosing direct flights so, your pet so your pet does not have to be on a plane too long. Customers cover the cost of flight ticket.
Refundable Ticket
We HIGHLY recommend choosing the refundable option for your purchased plane ticket- just in case. Life sometimes impact us in ways we can't always expect or plan for. There are many factors as to why any airline shouldn't be considered reliable. They can cancel flights, have weather delays, tech delays, and etc. If you choose to not do a refundable ticket, your flight WILL NOT BE REFUNDABLE TO ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT. It will go back to a credit where we can reschedule the delivery. There will be no guarantee the flight will be the same price you originally payed for.
Deposit
We require a $100-$150 non refundable deposit due on same day of purchased ticket. This is a safety net for our flight nannies considering this is a form of income they were relying on for themselves.
Contact Breeder
If you found our contact information through your breeder we will be responsible for communicating with them. If you are getting a pet from a breeder that we are not working with already, you will need to send over their name and phone number, and let them know you want us to do your pet transportation. From there we can communicate with them. Once we have booked plane ticket and received deposit we will send out a group text with you, the breeder, and flight nanny with a plan.
Day of Delivery
On day of delivery the airline charges a pet in cabin fee of $95-$150 depending on which airline we decide to use. That will be included in the fight nanny fee. Once your pet is placed in our care you will receive picture updates of their journey. We meet at the airport baggage claim where we will take a picture of you with your pet and send to the breeder. At that time, the remaining flight nanny fee will be due.
